Un individu demandera g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus d&rsquo;argent pour se s\u00e9parer d&rsquo;une de ses possessions qu&rsquo;il ne serait pr\u00eat \u00e0 en d\u00e9penser pour l&rsquo;acqu\u00e9rir. Certaines exp\u00e9riences montrent que cette asym\u00e9trie peut \u00eatre importante.<\/p>\n<h2>Exemples<\/h2>\n<p>Une exp\u00e9rience men\u00e9e par <a href=\"https:\/\/www.journals.uchicago.edu\/doi\/abs\/10.1086\/261737?journalCode=jpe\">Richard Thaler et Daniel Kahneman en 1990<\/a>\u00a0avait pour objectif de mesurer quelle valeur les participants accordaient \u00e0 des mugs, selon que ces mugs leur appartiennent ou non. Ceux \u00e0 qui on avait donn\u00e9 les mugs demandaient deux fois plus d&rsquo;argent pour s&rsquo;en s\u00e9parer que les participants \u00e0 qui on avait simplement demand\u00e9 d&rsquo;estimer les objets. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aeaweb.org\/articles?id=10.1257\/jep.5.1.193\">Thaler et Kahneman ont expliqu\u00e9 cette diff\u00e9rence<\/a>\u00a0d&rsquo;estimation par un m\u00e9lange d&rsquo;aversion \u00e0 la perte, de biais de statu quo et de biais d&rsquo;attention.<\/p>\n<p>Dans un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3711273\/\">autre sc\u00e9nario exp\u00e9rimental<\/a>, des chercheurs des Universit\u00e9s de Vienne et de Salzbourg ont d\u00e9couvert que les sujets accordaient plus de valeur aux tickets de loterie qu&rsquo;on leur avait donn\u00e9s. Quand on leur demandait s&rsquo;ils voulaient \u00e9changer leur ticket contre un autre, la plupart des participants refusaient.
